Super Asher.
I had decided a few days before I took this photo that I would embark on a "100 Strangers, 100 different days" journey. It's a group on FLICKR that encourages you to go out and actually converse with strangers....and let them photograph you.
The first Stranger I got to know was actually a small five year old boy running around with a cape in Volunteer Park in Capitol Hill, Seattle, Washington.
...and i swear this kid is truly my hero, or at least my hero in Training.
He claims that he's landed here on earth from another planet [in some galaxy far far away] full of super heroes. That a space ship took a few members of his family and friends to earth and they've been sent here on a mission to serve and protect by fighting off evil dooers.
He says the cape he wears was handed down to him by his father "Bonecrusher" and that after he finishes his training it will give him the ability to fly. After he learns to fly he says, he'll learn to move at the speed of light and obtain the power of Super Strength.
I told him to keep up the training and if I'm ever in danger, I'll be sure to call out his name. And in return he said "I'll save you from ALL EVIL! That is...if i have my powers by then."
...Ah, to be young.
